The University of Gastronomic Sciences was founded in January of 2003 by Slow Food in conjunction with regional authorities of the Emilia-Romagna and Pidemont regions of Italy. This University is private and modelled on other prestigious Italian institutions.
The degree course at the University of Gastronomic Sciences provides students with a comprehensive education in both sciences and humanities. Graduates will be qualified to work at an international level in the fields of production, processing, distribution and promotion of food and beverages.
